100 Thing Challenge.

As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness. ~Henry David Thoreau

And here is where my journey to rid my life of extraneous worldy possessions begins...

In my life up to this point...I've seen great success directly related to the amount of STUFF you have...how big your house is...what kind of car you have...and how many kitchen gadgets you can aquire.

In the last year or two...I've begun to realize that the way I started my life...was far closer related to spiritual growth and awareness than being able to purchase that enlightenment with the almighty buck.

I find myself becoming more comfortable in my world...the more stuff I give away and unburden myself with.

The things that are important to me now....are things that have no worth but are priceless to me.

Startlers.

Have you ever met someone whose energy startles you?

Whose very presence seems to jar your bones?

There's a woman at my work who I swear I can feel on a different level. Every time I am in contact with her my heart races and I feel dizzy and overwhelmed inside. As if...my energy was being compromised somehow.

I'm not sure if this has to do with my recent self discoveries of a paranormal nature...or if I'm just a little bit more attuned to the different frequencies.

All I know is that when I pass her in the hallway...or on the street...
I feel exposed and I can almost read her vibrations....
but I don't like it. They aren't beach boy good vibrations.

They are dark and scary... and a little bit...
invasive.

I think I'll start carrying the protective stones around me again...
and declare my own spiritual sovereignty just to be sure...

In case she's trying to get me ;)~

“Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain”

I love that quote.

It's always been one of my favorites...but then again..so has dancing in the rain.

I guess I've always been a kid who loves a weather pattern. And oddly enough, I don't really like the sunshine.

I have friends (you know who you are) that LOVE the sun. In fact MOST of my friends complain about the rain and spend an endless amount of time simply LONGING for sunshine.

Not me. Rain and clouds...wind and storms...
they feel like comfort to me.

Snow is the best.

When I can reconnect with my long lost friend - snow angel.

There's just something about change. Dynamic. Flowing. Change.

Maybe it's not the weather...maybe it's the movement of time that I see in the clouds...or the future I see in the wind.

Whatever it is, it's why I live where I live now.

And why the places I am considering to live in the future....all have weather patterns similar to Seattle.

Give me a mud puddle and I'll jump in it for hours.

And there's almost nothing in the world that compares to the taste of a snowflake in your mouth.

Except maybe when they land on quiet eyelashes.

:)
